Sherri Shepherd Loses Appeal In Surrogacy Case

The year 2016 isn't going so well for Sherri Shepherd. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is refusing to hear the ex-The View co-host's case, after a lower court ruled she is legally responsible for a child she and ex-husband Lamar Sally had via surrogate.

According to the Associated Press, Shepherd spent over $100,000 to set up the surrogacy, but tried to void the contract after she and Sally divorced in New Jersey. Shepherd continues to pay her former husband $4,100 in monthly child support payments for 1-year-old Lamar Jr.
