Web Soap Opera The Bay Moves to Amazon Prime

The Bay

Daytime Emmy-winning web series The Bay has found itself a new home. The Gregori Martin serial will begin streaming on Amazon Prime this summer, reports Soap Opera Digest

Twenty-eight episodes of the soap opera will be broken up into two 14 episode seasons.  “We’re excited to bring to the viewers these remastered episodes with never before seen footage,” said Martin in a press release. “The show will have a new starting point, and we hope the viewers will binge watch the series to learn the whole story.”

The Bay will resume production this May with soap stars Jensen Buchanan, Carolyn Hennesy and Brandon Beemer all joining the cast for a special Dickens-esque arc centered on Mayor Jack Madison (Nicolas Coster). My Lionel Lockridge from Santa Barbara as Ebenezer Scrooge? That certainly won't make me say "Bah! Humbug!"
