The return of Three Supervillains to Salem U.S.A.  is wreaking havoc on the Midwestern hamlet's globally-connected economy. I giggled just a wee bit writing such an absurd sentence!

This week on Days of Our Lives, both Titan Industries and DiMera Enterprises are in peril! Okay, so that might be a bit of an exaggeration where the conglomerate run by the once dastardly DiMeras is concerned.

Chad (Billy Flynn) is simply trying to re-brand his late father's empire, while ex-stepmama Kate (Lauren Koslow) is working to get him to bring Andre (Thaao Penghlis) back into the family fold. How exactly does one re-brand a company known for being able to commander an army of Marlena (Deidre Hall) clones at a moment's notice, and how can a reformed serial killer help achieve such a goal? I bet you won't find an essay about that on LinkedIn.

While Chad considers sending his brother over to HR, Clan Kiriakis is camped out in the family living room trying to keep the shipping arm of the multinational from going under. Thanks, Brady (Eric Martsolf)!

Did anyone else get an old school Quartermaines from General Hospital vibe, while watching the Kiriakis men in action? No, not just because of the Wally Kurth factor, sillies! I don't mind telling y'all, I squeed when Sonny (Freddie Smith) mentioned my beloved Spectator newspaper.

I love how the returns of Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and Co. have galvanized the entire canvas. The action adventure characters are brandishing their guns! The moguls are moguling! And those dreadful children have been bound and gagged quite a bit.

Days of Our Lives is starting to be a fun viewing experience again. Check out a recap video below, then tell us what you think about the goings-on in Salem in the comments!
