Soap alum Rick Hearst continues to line up primetime roles. In addition to appearing on the new season of The Vampire Diaries, the actor has landed a role on VH1's upcoming series Daytime Divas. Hearst made the announcement via Instagram, stating:

The highly-anticipated series is based on the novel Satan's Sisters, written by Star Jones and is loosely based on her time at ABC Daytime's The View.
