Get ready, soap fans. Media makes it's long-anticipated debut tonight at 8/7c on TV One! Loosely based on the real-life story of how Radio One and TV One founder Cathy Hughes went from a homeless single mom to one of the most powerful women in broadcasting, Media tells the story of two warring, black-owned communications dynasties.

On one side you have the Jones clan headed up by media maven Jackie Jones (Castle's Penny Johnson Jerald). Jackie founded Jones Universal Media Properties, aka JUMP, the world's largest urban media conglomerate. Ray Donovan and The Game favorite Pooch Hall plays Clay, Jackie's first born son and JUMP's CEO. Chicago Fire and Scandal alum Brian White portrays Michael Jones, a rising politician forced by tragedy to give up his legislative dreams and return to the family business. Passions and Queens of Drama star Chrystee Pharris appears as Crystal, the family's only daughter and CFO of JUMP. The youngest member of the Jones clan is party boy Anthony, played by Blue Kimble.

Facing off against Jackie's kin are the Randolph brothers. Elder sibling Jabbar Randolph (Being Mary Jane and CSI's Gary Dourdan) is released from prison just in time to snatch control of his company from kid brother Will (Imposters' Stephen Bishop).

Which family will come out on top? You'll have to tune in to Media tonight on TV One at 8/7c to find out!

Hughes serves as executive producer on the TV movie (and potential backdoor pilot) alongside Susan Banks and Sheila Duckworth. Craig Ross, Jr. (Bones) directed the script from New York Undercover co-creator Kevin Arakadie.
