Pop diva Erika Jayne (Erika Girardi) will add another entry to her growing resume: ballroom dancer. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member and recent The Young and the Restless guest star will strut her stuff during the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.
Jayne is following in the footsteps of her idol, Susan Lucci, who appeared on Season 7 of DWTS. The reality TV queen christened herself "Erika Jayne" as an homage to Lucci's All My Children character Erica Kane. Because of her love for soaps, Jayne's RHOBH costar Eileen Davidson arranged for her pal to do a cameo on Y&R last year.
The latest DWTS cast and their dancing partners were announced on Good Morning America earlier this week. Jayne will pair up with Gleb Savchenko; Olympic gold medal gymnast Simone Biles teams with Sasha Farber; Mr. T will dance with Kym Herjavec; Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei is with Valentin Chmerkovskiy; Glee alum Heather Morris with Maksim Chmerkovskiy; ex- Saturday Night Live comic Chris Kattan with Witney Carson; The Bachelor Nick Viall with Peta Murgatroyd; Bull rider-turned-model Bonner Bolton with Sharna Burgess; legendary singer and TV star Charo with Keo Motsepe; two-time World Series champ David Ross with Lindsay Arnold; former ice skater Nancy Kerrigan with Artem Chigvintsev and former New York Giants star Rashad Jennings with Emma Slater.
Season 24 of DWTS begins March 20 at 8 pm EST on ABC.
