Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor's old sidekick is heading to daytime. TV Insider is reporting Richard Karn will guest on The Bold and the Beautiful May 5 and 8.
Karn will play a judge who presides over Sally Spectra's (Courtney Hope) arraignment following Spectra's theft of Forrester Creations designs.
Karn, who played Al for eight seasons of ABC's Home Improvement, waxed poetic about real and reel life corporate espionage to Michael Logan, saying:
“People have copied other people throughout the history of commerce,” notes Karn. “Samsung copied Sony when Sony was top dog. Now Samsung is top dog. It’s a free market. All is fair in love and war. But there is also such a thing as industrial espionage. Even though Sally does confess to the crime, and her ex-boyfriend Thomas Forrester [Pierson Fodé] will step in to try to make things right, this is still a punishable crime—perhaps with as much as fifteen years in prison, but probably five. Or maybe three with good behavior.”
I hope the judge throws the case out of court over the technicality of the Forresters being so stupid to still be using sketch pads to design in 2017. Have these people never heard of an iPad?
