Mark Consuelos Will Be The Ultimate DILF on Riverdale
Mark Consuelos is returning to his soap roots, only in primetime! The All My Children alum has been cast as ruthless financier Hiram Lodge for Season 2 of The CW's Riverdale, reports TVLine.

Hiram, a long-standing character from the Archie Comics universe, is the father of spoiled heiress Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) and the estranged husband of Hermione (Marisol Nicols). While Hiram has been in New York answering to charges of financial impropriety, his wife has been reconnecting with old flame Fred Andrews (Luke Perry), father of Ronnie's beloved "Archie-kins"(KJ Apa).
This casting bolsters Riverdale's multi-generational appeal. The sudser also stars Twin Peaks alum Madchen Amick as Betty Cooper's (Lil Reinhart) helicopter mom on acid, O.G. Scream bad boy Skeet Ulrich as Jughead's (Cole Sprouse) sketchy dad and 80's teen queen Molly Ringwald as Archie's mom.
