After some wrangling, Bill tells Brooke that he was only focused on his building and nothing was going to stop him. Brooke counters since Spectra no longer owns the property, he should be able to move forward. She doesn't think he should feel guilty over an accident.
Steffy wants Liam to give a little and meet Bill halfway. It's been about 24 hours, so he's not ready. He doesn't understand why his wife is defending a liar, cheat, bully, and arsonist. He can't forgive someone who put himself and others in harm's way.
Wyatt tells Katie that Bill stepped down. The real bug up Wyatt's ass is that Liam is the new CEO, not him. He worries about Liam's new, impending business plan. Katie wonders if this is what Steffy was warning her about. Wyatt admits he had no clue this was coming. They think there is more to the story and will work together to figure it out. They hit the sheets.
Liam tells Steffy Bill is using her. Bill's only sorry because he got caught. He thinks Bill is trying to get his position back. Liam refuses to divvy up the company. He vows to use his power for good.
Bill tells Brooke the Spectra fire wasn't an accident. Brooke wonders who hates the Spectras so much they would burn down a building. Bill tells her that he couldn't wait for them to fail, so he called Justin and ordered it. Bill explains that Liam recorded his confession.
Steffy tells Liam that Bill made a mistake and he's sorry. Liam says from his vantage point on the floor, he couldn't see remorse in Bill's eyes. He tells her Bill said he would decimate him. Liam refuses to budge.
Brooke flips out because the fire could have killed someone. She tells him she didn't always agree with his tactics, but still loved and admired him. She can't understand how he would commit a crime. Brooke wonders if he would have told her the truth if she didn't push. Bill admits the fewer number of people who know, the better.
Bill goes further and tells Brooke that he hit Liam. Brooke wonders who Bill Spencer really is and what his next move will be. She tells him she's so upset she can't even look at him. She turns to leave, but Bill pleads with her to stay. He says he already lost his son, he can't lose her.
