Christopher Sean (Paul) is saying goodbye to Salem. Sean has decided to quit the role of baseball player-turned-private dick (and long-lost son of Drake Hogestyn's John Black) Paul Narita on Days of Our Lives.
According to sources, Sean wants to branch out into primetime and film. He came on the show in 2014, where he became involved in a love triangle with gay supercouple Will Horton (then played by Guy Wilson) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith).
When Will was believed to have been killed by Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), Paul and Sonny rekindled their love affair and almost got hitched. That was until Ben informed the couple at the altar that Will (now played by Chandler Massey) was alive. Sonny ended things with Paul to reunite with Will, only to find out his estranged husband had feelings for Paul.
No word on if the role will be recast or Sean's last air and tape dates.
