We begin our day in Salem with Adrienne on the phone with Justin. She's thanking him for helping out Lucas with that dastardly Bonnie Lockhart. Justin hangs up and turns to Lucas. He wants to make sure Lucas wants this hot mess out of jail and in his life. Just then, Bonnie walks in and wants to know the deal. Justin explains he has spoken with Melinda Trask - where is she? I miss her! She has agreed to drop the charges against Bonnie. However, there is still the matter of that pesky murder. Fortunately for Bonnie, all the prisons are overcrowded and folks are being granted early releases. Bonnie qualifies, but not so fast. She needs to turn over Baby Bonnie before she's allowed to sign the papers! Side note: I love that one of the writers thought enough to mention the reality of prison overcrowding and early release. On the other hand, violent offenders are not usually chosen and I'm not really sure that Justin can work that deal about Baby Bonnie . . . but I won't quibble. Bonnie makes it clear that "Papa Bear Horton" will not get near Baby Bon-Bon unless she is released.

Will and Sonny are thinking longingly about each other while Paul is paralyzed in his hospital bed. Will spends a lot of time trying to convince Paul that his newly found memories of Sonny do not replace his existing life with Paul. In this back and forth, Paul gives Will EVERY opportunity to tell him the truth. Will sticks to his story and says that he and Paul are solid. What is interesting here is when Will talks about Paul, he seems genuine. I mean, we know from his history that Will is a REALLY good liar, but this seemed pretty genuine. Side note: I know Christopher Sean is leaving, which pains me, but I hope they recast Paul. I would like to see Will fall in love with Paul again, drop Sonny, then have Paul find out that WilSon had been pulling a fast one on him. We shall see.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Adrienne and Sonny are lamenting about their lives. They talk for a minute about Lucas and Bonnie, but then move on to WilSon: The Mini-Series. They're going back and forth about how being selfless is really hard, and just as I think I'm going to have to declare them both martyrs, Sonny finds some clarity. FINALLY! Sonny told us about the regrets he had about Paul and how horrible he had been to him. Finally! This is the Sonny I remember. Sonny was once incredibly self-aware and oh, so careful with people's feelings. It was really nice to see Sonny again. After begging Sonny to reconsider telling the truth, Adrienne promises to stay out of it . . . does anyone believe that?

Over at the Horton House, Jennifer Rose is still wallowing in all that tea she spilled. She calls Kayla to provide some comfort. Jennifer gives Kayla the lowdown on what happened with Eric. She adds the little tidbit about Brady threatening to take away baby Holly if Nicole didn't break up with Eric and leave town. Kayla was so understanding and was so comforting. I want to call Kayla when I'm upset!

At the Salem Inn, Brady answers the door to find a VERY emotional Eric who declares, "I know what you did." Brady is clueless (giggle). Eric is more than happy to explain . . . with his FIST! Eric knocks Brady on his ass - actually, on his front, which provided a pleasant view. Eric screams at Brady, "I lost the love of my life because of you!" Eve runs to Brady's rescue. With her Southern drawl in full effect, she tries to tell Eric to back off because Brady has been through so much. Eric shuts that mess down quickly. Um, Eve, hello, his mother was shot and almost killed. Eric asks Brady if he is really that vindictive. Yup. Brady tries to explain that Kristen, Theresa, and all the women of Salem made fools of him, He claims he's a different person now because of Eve and that he is thankful to Nicole for leading him to this wonderful woman. Meanwhile, Eve's nose is growing in the corner.

Eric turns to Brady and congratulates him on his changed life and his relationship with Eve. BUT, if he's such a changed man, then why didn't he tell him what he did. Brady hems and haws around for an explanation, but essentially, he's got nothing. Just as Eric is beginning to regain some semblance of composure, Brady goes and tells him that Eve knew all about it. Eric gets all up in Brady's face and says, "You are a PATHETIC human being. You and I are no longer brothers!" He walks out and Brady is devastated, angry, sad . . . and basically feeling all of the emotions.

We begin our ending in Salem with "Big Papa Horton" giving into Bonnie and letting her sign her release . . . but she'd better not double cross him. I'm not laying dollars on that one.

In Horton Square, Will is getting yogurt for Paul and runs into Sonny, who has gone out for some air. Will gives Sonny the 411 on Paul, but is clearly not as signed on to this charade as Sonny.

At the Brady Pub, Eric is pouring some booze to ease his pain, but just inhales it for a really long time before launching that glass across the bar. Brooding Eric has become my favorite Eric.

We conclude today at the Salem Inn where Eve tries to console Brady with an ice pack and some loving care, but Brady is beside himself. He just doesn't understand how Eric found out. Eve, you in danger, girl.

Another day in Salem, USA has come to a close.  What did you think?  Were you as impressed with Eric vs. Brady as I was?  Sound off in the comments!
