Dr. Phil McGraw is sticking around. CBS and The Dr. Phil Show have inked a multi-year deal that will keep the show on through 2023. The number 1 daytime talk show will kick off its new deal with CBS TV Distribution now until season 21, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In a released statement, CTD’s president of sales Steve Hackett said,
Dr. Phil is a titan of daytime television, setting the gold standard delivering clinically sound, common-sense, usable information to millions of homes every day. There has truly never been anyone else like him and we are thrilled to continue our longtime relationship.
McGraw is also the executive producer of his self-titled series and daytime talk show The Doctors. The daily syndicated newsmagazine DailyMailTV stated,
