Megyn Kelly's week has gone from bad to a dumpster fire hot mess. Days after the Megyn Kelly Today host defended wearing blackface for Halloween, the network is ending her freshman talk show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kelly has met with execs at NBC in recent weeks to talk about the status of her show and her interest to cover more politics and news.
If Kelly's show is yanked from the air, there is no word on what NBC News would replace it with. Meanwhile, Kelly's also being let go by her talent agency. CAA has parted ways with Kelly and has refused to give a reason for the departure. Sources have told THR the former Fox anchor searched for new reps because CAA is representing NBC News president Noah Oppenheim. Yesterday, Kelly then hired Bryan Freedman, a top talent attorney, which may indicate she's gearing up for a fight against NBC.
