Victoria/Reed/Nikki: More turmoil commences with the Newman family. Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) returns to Genoa City and is not feeling any kind of love for his grandfather Victor (Eric Braeden). Reed thinks his father, J.T. (Thad Luckinbill), was snuffed out by Victor. His mom Victoria (Amelia Heinle) tries her best to convince him otherwise. Reed fires off that Victoria was in denial about how far her pops would go, and wonders if he has blood on his hands.
Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) swings by and overhears the conversation. Nikki attempts to get Reed to see Victor is not J.T.'s killer, but the young lad doesn't buy what grandma is selling. Later, Victoria remarks to her mother that Rey's (Jordi Vilasuso) investigation into Victor is causing more harm to Reed. Nikki tells her baby girl not to worry because she has an idea to derail Rey's case. Nikki contacts Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) and feigns wanting to discuss her make up.
Mia is eager to rub elbows with the socialite. The two meet. Nikki butters Mia up, but informs her they can be cool ONLY IF Rey backs off the Newmans. While Mia excuses herself, Nikki slips some booze in her coffee to calm her nerves. Once again, Nikki will fall off the wagon.
Nick: The Newman playboy (Joshua Morrow) gets some bad news.
Phyllis: Red (Gina Tognoni) continues to hide more from Nick.
Billy: The Abbott black sheep (Jason Thompson) has a dose of reality thrown on him by Victoria.
Jack: Old Smilin' (Peter Bergman) makes a big move, while Kerry (Alice Hunter) continues to dig up dirt on Jack.
Cane/Devon: The Aussie con man (Daniel Goddard) and his brother in law (Bryton James) make peace. While the two are burying the hatchet, Ana (Loren Lott) keeps something from Devon. Will the uptight billionaire fall out with another sibling?
Mariah: The junior journalist is torn over her mother (Sharon Case) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).
