Jacob Young Sounds Off on Upcoming The Bold and the Beautiful Storyline Shocker

Jacob Young is not mincing words when it comes to The Bold and the Beautiful's storytelling. The target, once again, is his character Eric "Rick" Forrester, Jr. Young played the role of Eric (John McCook) and Brooke Logan Forrester's (Katherine Kelly Lang) eldest child from 1997-1999, and from 2011 until recently. He is responding to an upcoming storyline surrounding Rick and Maya (Karla Mosley). 


Soap Opera Digest broke the news on the cover their latest magazine issue. B&B's Rick and Maya will be breaking up offscreen and Maya will be returning to the series. Last month, Mosley announced on Instagram she was taping after being on maternity leave. Mosley stated,

In September, Young had a candid interview where he was very frank about the lack of screen time his character was receiving. He admitted he decided to go on recurring status because of it. Young also revealed the storyline he pitched to TPTB in order to stay with the show, but it was given to Ingo Rademacher (Thorne) instead.
