Good Morning America's offshoot GMA Day has a new look and name. Earlier today, the talk show revealed its new name, Strahan and Saraalong with a new logo. The show is still in their 1 p.m. time slot, but will focus on hosts Michael Strahan and Sara Haines. On the show's official Instagram page it announced,

The chat fest, which brings in an average of 1.7 to 1.9 million viewers, replaced the defunct culinary show The Chew last year, which saw more than 2 million people tuning in. Variety reports the Mouse House execs are hopeful about the eyeballs watching, since new shows get off to a big start, then eventually see the numbers dip drastically. Right now, GMA Day ratings have seen their drop off viewers narrow.

The trade paper also claims the show was put together very quickly. ABC saw the debut of it as a "soft launch" and would always "tweak" what worked and what didn't in order to improve and make the show a hit.
