Wendy Williams is making her way back to television. The Wendy Williams Show production company, Debmar-Mercury, announced on Thursday the self-proclaimed "Queen of All Media" will return to her talk show March 4. On Williams' Instagram page, the production company released an official statement saying,
Wendy Williams is an incredible talent with the most unique voice in daytime. We can’t wait to welcome her back to her iconic purple chair on the set of her show on Monday, March 4th.
We so appreciate all of the guest hosts and panelists who filled in for Wendy during this time. These people are, and always will be, true family to the show. And we want to thank all of the loyal and supportive fans who have been with us for 10 years now.
And of course, we thank our station and business partners, who stepped up in such a supportive way.
Williams took a break from her hit chat fest after she fractured her shoulder in December. She was to return to taping on January 14. Williams' filming date was then pushed back to January 21, but the show announced she would be taking a leave of absence to focus on her recovery and treatment for Graves' disease. Williams also released a statement of her own and thanked her staff for keeping the place going for her. Williams stated,
Salute to Debmar-Mercury for believing from the start and thanks to my staff for tirelessly holding it down for me.
