The mystery on who will replace Michelle Stafford when she exits General Hospital in the role of Nina Clay Cassadine has ended. Actress Cynthia Watros will take over the role Stafford exited to return to The Young and the Restless.

As soap fans already know, Watros is no slouch when it comes to the daytime game. Watros starred as the heroine turned Springfield hellcat "Crazy" Annie Dutton on the now defunct sudser Guiding Light, which garnered Watros an Outstanding Lead Actress Daytime Emmy. Watros left GL in 1998 and went on to primetime, most notably as Elizabeth "Libby" Smith on ABC's Lost, Fox's House M.D. and MTV's Finding Carter

The last time Watros was in the daytime genre was from 2013 to 2014 on Y&R, when she originated the role of Kelly Andrews, the older sister of Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan). She soon left the role for Finding Carter and it was taken over by Cady McClain.

Per People, Watros begins taping her eps in early June.
