Shannen Doherty Signs On For 90210 Reboot
Brenda Walsh is returning! Shannen Doherty is on board for the upcoming series 90201. The reboot of the original classic primetime drama Beverly Hills, 90210 also has Doherty's former castmates, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, and Gabrielle Carteris signed on.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the six-episode summer series will feature the former West Beverly High friends playing a "heightened version of themselves" in this latest incarnation of the Aaron Spelling teen sudser.
Doherty starred as Brenda Walsh on the original series for four seasons before she exited in 1994. When the reboot was first announced, Doherty and Luke Perry were the only ones who weren't signed on, and were still finalizing their appearances. Perry was starring on The CW's Riverdale when he died suddenly from a stroke last month.
