The Young and the Restless black sheep Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is back in Genoa City causing all sorts of mischief and mayhem. He is determined to reunite with his wife Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), but is she interested in falling back into her newly resurrected husband's arms?
The last time viewers saw Chelsea, she and Adam's older brother Nick (Joshua Morrow), were building a life together. Out of the blue, she embezzled money from her own company, and hit the road with her son Connor in tow. Egan appeared on The Talk Monday where she gave a little tea on what viewers should expect with Chelsea's return. According to Egan,
We’re going to have to watch and see if Adam and Chelsea reunite. Obviously, it looks like that from that scene, but she thought he was dead for three years. She moved on with her life. She remarried. So, a whole new life you guys… It’s going to take turns that you’re not necessarily expecting.
Seems like Adam has his work cut out for him. Before he was presumed dead and played by a little known actor named Justin Hartley, he and Chelsea were on the verge of having it all. But, it was taken away thanks to a vengeful Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
Watch Egan discuss Chelsea's tough road ahead of her with the residents of Genoa City below.
Egan's first airdate is slated for Friday, June 28.
