Just a few weeks after announcing being in the opening credits, Loren Lott is saying she's out at The Young and the Restless. The actress posted on Twitter that her final day at the number one daytime drama was today. The former American Idol contestant first joined the show on November 28 as Devon's (Bryton James) little sister Ana, replacing Jamia Simone Nash who was last seen in 2012.

Lott also created a video documenting her time on Y&R and her final day on the show. In the video description, Lott reveals TPTB were stuck on what to do with her character. Say wha!? Lott stated,

I was a little bummed at first when I was told that creatively they didn’t know what to do with my story line and they wanted to spend their budget increasing other people’s storylines but I appreciated their honesty. Everyone has told me how much they love me and showered me with so much encouragement.

What a lame excuse and just lazy storytelling, but I digress. Read Lott's entire description and check out her video below.
