Angelica McDaniel is out over at the Tiffany Network, according to Deadline. Her departure comes as CBS is restructuring to fold its daytime division under the broadcaster's current programming department run by Amy Reisenbach.
McDaniel first joined CBS in 2010 as the vice-president of daytime programming. She spearheaded The Talk, the network's first daytime talk show. She was promoted to senior vice-president two years later, becoming the network's youngest ever daytime head.
In 2015, McDaniel was promoted to executive vice president. Series under her purview included: The Talk, The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, Let's Make a Deal, The Price Is Right and the CBS Saturday morning Dream Team lineup.
“Angelica McDaniel championed our daytime series line up with creativity, passion and energy and broke new ground by helping launch the network’s first daytime talk show in years while respecting the long history and tradition of the dramas and game shows, said CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl. "We appreciate her many contributions and wish her well on her next endeavors.”
