Grammy-winning rapper Clifford "T.I." Harris, Jr. appeared on the October 29 episode of The Tamron Hall Show to diuscuss his soap opera-worthy personal life. Tip and his wife, R&B powerhouse Tameka "Tiny" Harris - part of '90s girl group Xscape - have candidly showed the ups and downs of their marriage on their VH1 reality shows. Currently, they star on T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.
In 2016, Tiny filed for divorce after T.I. was linked with model Bernice Burgos. The couple reunited in 2018 and appear stronger than ever. What's their breakup-to-make-up secret? The Atlanta native told Hall, per HollywoodLife:
"The key to staying together, this is the secret, this is how people have been together for 10s and 20s and 30s of years. Here it is: Don’t go nowhere. That’s as simple as that.”
"If you look at someone who’s been married for 20, 40, years, there have been times that they’ve hated each other’s guts and they wanted to turn around and walk away. But, the only thing that kept them together is staying together.”
He's working on an exciting Netflix project called Rhythm & Flow. The hip-hop competition show, featuring T.I., Cardi B, and Chance the Rapper, has been dubbed "one of the best television shows of the year" by Complex.
