As The World Turns fan favorite Michael Park (ex-Jack) has signed on to Netflix's romantic comedy YA series Dash & Lily. A joint venture through Nick Jonas’ (yes, THAT Nick Jonas, who praised Park on stage) Image 32 and Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps, the series is based on the YA novels Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan.
The holiday romcom centers on Dash (Austin Abrams), a pessimist, and the positive Lily (Midori Francis), who swap dreams and wishes in the notebook they share with each other all over New York City. The two soon learn they have more in common than they anticipated, according to Deadline. Park will play Dash's father, Gordon, who is a world traveler that sails, skis, and somehow manages to upstage his son and make him feel minuscule.
Glenn McCuen will play Edgar Thibaud, a popular prep school boy from a privileged upbringing. Confident, flirtatious, and sometimes oblivious, he’s a former bully who’s trying to reform. Look for the series to debut in 2020.
