Former The Young and the Restless star Lyndsy Fonseca (ex-Colleen) has booked a starring role in an upcoming Lifetime flick. According to Deadline, Fonseca will appear in You Can't Take My Daughter, set to premiere Feb. 15.
Fonseca will let all her acting chops come to the fore in this dramatic - and traumatic - story. Her character, Amy Thompson, is a law student who is raped by acquaintance Demitri (Claws' Hunter Burke). Amy decides to keep the baby and raises her daughter on her own: until Demitri begins stalking her and tries to take her child.
You Can't Take My Daughter also features Kirstie Alley in the role of Fonseca's mom. The "Ripped from the Headlines" series features movies inspired by real-life news.
