Days of Our Lives Recap: Sloan Tells EJ About Eric And Nicole’s Drug Induced Tryst
On today’s Days of Our Lives recap:
DiMera Living Room: Gabi and Stefan are basking in the joy of their reunion. EJ arrives annoyed and nauseated at their display. Gabi immediately ribs him about his performance review at Dimera. EJ thinks Gabi’s position at DiMera is an “utter farce” because she is a “money grubbing bottom feeder.” Gabi begins recounting all of the bad things everyone at the company had to say about him. Stefan thinks the board will be very interested in Gabi’s findings. EJ reminds him Nicole is also evaluating Stefan’s performance. With that, EJ exits to grab some air leaving Stefan and Gabi to giggle.
Stefan decides to go for a run around the lake. Gabi’s going to hang back and send her report to the DiMera board. Stefan can’t wait to oust EJ from DiMera for good.
Horton Square: Eric gives Sloan a rose and they get all adorable. Just then, Nicole arrives and is sickened by their display. Sloan gets a text from a client she has to meet and exits. Nicole walks over and confirms Eric and Sloan are back together. He says they are exclusive. Nicole can’t believe he’s back with Sloan as she will probably be on her way to Statesville for messing with Chanel and Paulina. They go back and forth a bit and Nicole finally says she just wants Eric to be happy. He wants the same for her.
Paulina’s Digs: Paulina is harnessing her chi when Chanel arrives. She’s trying to cope with her panic attacks. She asks Chanel to thank Talia for the tip. Chanel informs her about their upcoming date. Paulina thought she was straight as did Chanel. She goes on to inform her about their recent kiss. Paulina thinks she has a superpower to change straight girls into bisexuals. She is worried Chanel might be moving too quickly after Allie.
Paulina’s afraid Chanel is moving too quickly, as per usual. Chanel wonders if her mama is calling her a “ho.” Paulina says no but then reminds her of her marriages to both Xander and Johnny followed by her relationship with Allie. She goes on to say people aren’t always what they seem. Chanel appreciates her mother’s concern, and Paulina hopes she has a good time on her date.
Roach Motel: Colin lounges nekkid in bed as Talia preps for her date with Chanel. He reminds her, once again, about why destroying Chanel will bring him both justice and peace. Talia isn’t certain she can go through with the plan. He says he hates the idea of her being with someone else. Colin would do it himself, but everything would immediately fall on him. Talia wants the scheming to be over so they can go back to their relationship. With that, they declare their love, and Talia heads out for her date.
Brady Pub: Jada is distraught about the hardware store owner recognizing Talia. Rafe tries to calm her down saying they don’t have any proof of anything. Jada is certain Talia has been targeting Chanel and Paulina. He still doesn’t understand her sister’s possible motivation. Jada says they know enough. He still thinks Sloan is a suspect or someone completely off their radar. Rafe takes her hand saying they will get through everything together. Just then, Talia arrives to get dressed for her date. Jada stops her and asks if she trashed Paulina’s office.
Talia denies any wrong doing, but Jada then spills all the evidence they recently discovered. Talia can’t believe her sister would accuse her of something so horrible. Rafe explains they are exploring alll angles. Jada begs her sister to talk to her. Suddenly, Talia admits to making a copy of a key - Jada’s room key. Talia is a lying liar who lies when she acts offended by the accusations. With that, she and Jada head upstairs to test out the key.
Jada returns and says the key fit. She’s mortified she blurted out her accusations. Just then, Talia comes downstairs and storms out.

The Bistro: Colin is seated to watch Talia’s date when Sloan arrives. Her client arrives wanting to review her testimony. She thinks her testimony will be easy peasy as long as she tells the truth and leaves the rest to her. The client asks whether or not she needs to get another attorney, but Sloan explains she’s innocent.
Colin gets a text from Talia explaining what happened with Jada. She texts back wondering if she should cancel the date. Just then, Chanel arrives.
Outside the Brady Pub: Sloan and EJ meet for the first time. They discuss their awkward time at The Bistro on Valentine’s Day. Sloan says it wasn’t quite as awkward as when she caught Eric and Nicole in bed together. EJ asks for clarity and she says it again. Sloan apologizes as she assumed he knew.

Endings
Rafe tries to get Jada to eat but she’s lost her appetite. She asks what he thought of Talia’s story. Rafe seems a little less than convinced but still questions her motive.
Colin approaches Connie asking about Sloan’s possible legal trouble. She really wants to be able to trust her lawyer. Colin thinks Sloan is a woman of integrity, and he is an excellent judge of character.
Chanel and Talia have a seat and begin their date. Chanel wants her to know there is no pressure about what the night might bring. Talia takes a sigh of relief and they look over their menus.
Sloan explains the biscuits were drugged which is what led to Eric and Nicole’s tryst. EJ confirms Nicole didn’t say anything. Sloan says he shouldn’t lose any sleep over it. With that, she exits. EJ takes a seat and remembers overhearing Nicole’s phone call the night of the biscuit debacle. He realizes the tryst was the focus of the conversation. Just then, Eric approaches.
Nicole arrives home and Gabi asks if EJ filled him in on her performance evaluation. Nicole says she will also send her scathing report to the board. Just then, Nicole doubles over in agony.
