The Young and the Restless Recap: Daniel Has Serious Doubts About Summer’s Plan
On today’s The Young and the Restless recap:
Summer and Daniel continue their discussion of Phyllis’ life and Jeremy Stark’s death. Summer doesn’t want to see Diane punished for something that never happened. That being said, she doesn’t want her released until they figure out how to clear Phyllis. Daniel is being very logical when he suggests they go to Chance and tell him the everything (In his defense, Chance does have a history of covering up crimes). Summer stops him saying Chance is great but he’s still an officer of the law.

Daniel is worried about both Phyllis and Diane and believes honesty is the best policy (give that young man his cub scout badge!). Daniel says he is going to the police, but Summer stops him. Daniel pushes her saying they are now accessories to a crime (multiple crimes actually). Summer says they can’t go to the police without a solution. She thought she could trust Daniel, but now wonders if she was mistaken. Daniel says he doesn’t know if he can be that person for Summer and walks away.
