The Young and the Restless Recap: Malcolm Heads Out of Town as Neil’s Celebration Concludes
On today’s The Young and the Restless recap:
Devon and Abby are hugging, and she declares the party officially over. Lily is standing next to Harmony and thanks Abby for all her hard work. Harmony asks Devon to touch base the next day. She’s staying at the GCAC, and turns to ask Malcolm where he’s laying his head. He says he’s not staying as he has to catch a flight because he went AWOL on his assignment. Nate asks him to come back soon and to stay longer next time. They awkwardly shake hands and Nate says he’s going to grab a room there too as Elena has an early shift and he doesn’t want to disturb her (and I’ve got a bridge I’d like to sell you). Nate walks Harmony to the elevator as they exit.
Abby tells Devon she’s going to wait for him up front and hugs Malcolm on her way out. Lily and Devon embrace and she congratulates him on the event. Malcolm says he will always show up for Neil. They turn and look at Neil’s photo and Devon tells his father he loves him. Lily says they miss him more than he knows. Malcolm closes out the scene telling Neil his star keeps shining.
