Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan Sign on as New GMA3 Co-Anchors
ABC has finally replaced departed GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach. According to Deadline, the network announced that the show's permanent co-anchors will be Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan.
Pilgrim had been a GMA3 co-anchor on weekends, while Morgan subbed in after Holmes and Robach were sidelined. Dr. Jennifer Ashton will continue as GMA3's chief health and medical correspondent.
The weekend editions of Good Morning America will see Gio Benitez as a new co-anchor, joining Whit Johnson and Janai Norman. Benitez has worked for ABC since 2013, with his most recent role being as a transportation correspondent.
