Perkie’s Observations: Trina Decides to Move Forward With The DNA Test on General Hospital
On today’s General Hospital recap: Chase returns to work at the PCPD to a round of applause and a stack of cases from Dante, including Cody's. Dante says he thought Cody put his past behind him and doesn't understand why he would steal Glady's bracelet. Dante mentions the SEC case (man, I really was hoping not to hear those three letters today) saying he doesn't believe Ned was the one who tipped them off.
Brook Lynn wonders what Tracy wants in return for helping Chase get his badge back. Tracy says she wants Brook Lynn to go back to work at Deception. Brook Lynn says she has opportunities to be a music manager but Tracy insists. Tracy wants Brook Lynn to look into research and development and tell her what the next big thing is.
Brook Lynn insists music is her life but Tracy says Chase's badge comes at a price. Tracy says she had to pull some expensive strings and wonders if Chase would appreciate knowing she was the one who pulled them. Brook Lynn calls Tracy's bluff, so she calls Chase and asks him out for lunch. Brook Lynn agrees to go back to Deception.
Maxie wants Sasha to do the television spot but she reminds Maxie she had a breakdown on the same home shopping show. Maxie says it has to be her, but Sasha doesn't want another breakdown on air. Maxie says she knows Sasha is stronger now, but Gladys steps in and says Sasha's mental health is at stake and won't agree to it.
Sasha thinks she's ready so Gladys finally says she won't stand in her way. After Gladys leaves, Maxie tells Sasha she sees her as strong and capable and not the victim that Gladys sees her. Sasha says she won't know unless she tries.

Selina tells Cody he's not welcome at her games anymore, since he was arrested for stealing the necklace. Cody begs but Selina calls him a petty thief and tells him there is no room at her table. Selina says she's trying to keep the eyes of the authorities off her games and him getting arrested didn't help that.
Cody says Gladys set him up but Selina doesn't care. Gladys arrives in time to interrupt the conversation and tells Selina to get rid of him. Selina says she should get rid of both of them. After some argument, Selina agrees to let both of them play tonight.
Taggert thanks Curtis for bringing Trina home to them. Trina says she wouldn't be here if not for Spencer. Trina asks to speak to Taggert and tells him she wants to do the DNA test to know the truth. She says he'll always be her father no matter what the test says. Trina says she needs to know and wants Taggert's blessing. Trina tells Portia and Curtis she wants to do the DNA test.
Agent Hursley interrupts Curtis and Portia's conversation and asks for answers to his questions. Hursley says the bureau was impressed with Curtis and the agency could use him. He says they need assets in the field to help when needed. Curtis says he prefers working at his club but Hursley gives him his card.
Laura calls Esme to the hospital where she's tearfully reunited with Ace. Austin stops and gives the baby a clean bill of health. Spencer tells Trina they're going back to Laura's place.
(Best moment of the episode, the look on Baby Ace's face when Genie pulled the lollipop out of her pocket. HIs eyes followed it from Genie's hand to Nicholas' hand to him putting it his pocket)
