The Drew Barrymore Show Sets Oct. 16 Return Minus Co-Head Writers
The talk show's three co-head writers have decided not to return
After shutting down production due to the WGA strike, The Drew Barrymore Show is starting up again...without a few key people. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the chatfest will return to air Oct. 16 for Season 4, but its three co-head writers — Liz Koe, Chelsea White, and Christina Kinon — have decided not to come back.
Insiders tell the trade site that the three, all of whom are WGA members, turned down offers to return. They expressed their support for the strike, especially as the talk show resumed production last month (before halting again).
Drew is currently interviewing scribes; its policies will comply with WGA regulations.
