Days of Our Lives Recap: Brady and Theresa Bring Tate Home to Salem

On today’s Days of Our Lives recap:
Kiriakis Mansion: Maggie and Justin chat about whether or not it’s ok for him and Bonnie to move back in. Maggie apologizes for not being more proactive and says they are completely welcome to return. Maggie says she welcomes the company as Alex has now fired her from Titan. Justin is furious with Alex and Maggie explains she wasn’t fired but he took the CEO job which led to her exit.
Justin is still thrown for a loop by everything he recently learned about his family. Maggie says he thinks Alex will not move back in as he’s liking where he’s currently living. Maggie goes on to tell the story about Bill, Laura, Mickey and Mike. Mickey thought Mike was his son, but he was actually Bill’s. None of that mattered to Mickey as he always thought about Mike as his own son. Justin thanks Maggie for relating her experience with him and Alex.
Titan: Stephanie walks in to tell Vivian she quits and is surprised to see Alex in the CEO’s chair. He points out his name plate and says he’s the new CEO. Stephanie is confused because he was working at Basic Black. Alex explains the details about Victor’s will. Stephanie wants to know if he’s okay and Alex admits he’s very confused by all of it.
Stephanie asks what all these changes mean for Maggie and he explains he doesn’t think it’s a great time for then to work together. Stephanie says she’s sorry Alex is dealing with everything he is.
Stephanie exits and Alex gets a call from a reporter with questions about the all the latest with Victor’s will.
Stephanie and Chad’s Place: Kate arrives bearing flowers. She is pissed about Sarah and how she’s torturing Rex. Chad thinks she should chill out, but Kate doesn’t remember asking his opinion. They shift topics to Steve and Kayla and how all of them want him to marry Stephanie. He thinks it’s a little quick and Kate wonders what if Stephanie thinks the same thing or is just humoring her parents. Just then, Stephanie arrives on the scene and Kate exits.
She explains she stopped by Titan but her resignation didn’t go quite as planned.
University Hospital – Marlena’s Office: Marlena talks to John about Kate’s concerns about Philip. She asks if he’s heard from Brady.

Airport: Brady and Theresa arrive back from Los Angeles. Brady wants to head home but Theresa reminds him they need to wait on Tater Tot. Just then, Tate arrives. He says he was trying to get one of the flight attendant’s phone numbers. They go on to say he should calm down since he was just kicked out of boarding school. Brady is pissed and Theresa tries to cool everyone’s jets. Brady wants Tate to get a job and knows exactly where he should develop some skills.
Brady Pub: Bonnie and Kayla are chatting about moving back into the Kiriakis mansion. They go on to chat a bit about the will and how Vivian ended up being kicked to the curb. Kayla isn’t stunned to realize Victor is stirring the pot from beyond the grave. Bonnie is worried about how Alex will handle the information he learned and all the money and power he now possesses. Just then, Theresa, Brady, and Tater Tot arrive. Kayla pops up and hugs him as Brady immediately spreads the news about Tate being kicked out of school. Kayla interrupts things by introducing Bonnie to Theresa. Brady goes back to trashing Tate and says he should work at the pub. They shift topics again and Brady asks about what happened with Victor’s briefcase. Bonnie fills him in on every single detail of the updated will.
Brady is trying to understand all the information and Bonnie pitches in to try and make a family tree. Just then, Bonnie hears from Justin, and she exits. Kayla explains about the letter in the briefcase from Angelica to Victor outlining how Alexandros isn’t Justin’s son. Theresa flashes back to Greece when she looked at the contents. In real time, Theresa decides to head out as she assumes Tater Tot will stay with him at John and Marlena’s. With that, she exits.

Endings
Tate and Brady grab some grub and discuss his new living situation. Tate wants to get the lay of the land and quickly exits.
Bonnie arrives at the mansion with multiple bags and is happy to be back home. Justin explains the latest with Alex and Maggie.
Theresa arrives at Titan to see Alex. He asks about Tate and she gets flirty about how wonderful he was to her in Greece. She probes a bit and he fills her in on the latest with Victor’s will. Theresa says she’s free for dinner, winks at him, and suggests they have “fun” together.
Stephanie tells Chad about the change in Alex’s paternity, but they quickly go back to discussing what happened with Steve and Kayla. She tries to explain they were discussing events that may happen someday but not now. He thinks they shouldn’t rush anything and they awkwardly embrace.
