Days of Our Lives' Ashley Puzemis is getting a solid grasp of her character, Holly Jonas. The newcomer spoke to Soap Opera Digest about how Holly resembles her mom, Nicole (Arianne Zucker).

It’s been fun for her to tell me about the show and her role specifically, because I’m basically a younger version of her.
Puzemis explained that she would characterize Holly as:
kind of a wild card. She’s young. She’s naive. She’s spunky. She’s outgoing and confident. She thinks she’s sexy. She’s also kindhearted. Her upbringing certainly wasn’t perfect in any means, but I think it was filled with a lot of love from Nicole and Eric [Greg Vaughan] and all the people around her.
She added:
But she’s also Nicole’s daughter. You never know what to expect from her. She’s drawn to danger and excitement.
