WATCH: The View Co-Hosts Rip Governor Kristi Noem For Killing Her Puppy (VIDEO)
Democrats and Republicans came together to tear into South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem's shocking revelation of killing her puppy. In Noem's upcoming book, No Going Back: The Truth on What's Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward, Noem reveals she took her 14-month-old dog Cricket on a bird hunting trip with her other older dogs as a way to calm the pup down.
Norm said Cricket had a bit of an "aggressive personality" and wanted her trained for hunting. According to Noem, Cricket chased the pheasants around and ruined the hunt for Noem. Later, she stopped by a family friend's house for a bit, and Cricket allegedly attacked the family's chicken and tried to bite Noem. The politician then claimed she "had to put her down" and shot the dog in a gravel pit. Noem used this example in her book to show how that when she has to make tough decisions, she does so, regardless of the consequences.
On Tuesday's episode of The View, the gabfest highlighted how both the GOP and Democrats aren't impressed; they ripped into her for her actions. Co-host Joy Behar quipped:

She’s not just cruel. She’s also stupid. By the way, her boyfriend [Donald] Trump — she wanted to be his Veep, I think that’s what this is about — wanted to have his Vice President hung … So they’re sort of made for each other. It’s the party of cruelty.
Alyssa Farah Griffin, the former White House Director of Strategic Communications and Assistant to the President, stated Noem had plenty of opportunities to not add the information regarding Cricket in the book and stated her political chances were "dead." Moderator Whoopi Goldberg questioned Noem's actions and asked:
Just keep in mind, if it was that easy for her to do to a dog, what will she do to a person?
