Perkie’s Observations: Dante Considers Leaving the Police Force on General Hospital

On today’s General Hospital recap:
Alexis asks Kristina and Sam their advice on the outfit she's wearing to her hearing. Kristina makes a comment about "her" baby, again. She talks about how incredible the pregnancy experience is. Sam leaves to pick up Danny from school (hey, remember yesterday when school was out for spring break).
Kristina complains to Alexis about how TJ doesn't want her to be around Sonny and how he's policing her actions. She thinks there is tension between TJ and Molly and thinks she doesn't deserve to be micromanaged. Kristina wants them to love the process the way she does. Alexis asks if Kristina thinks of the baby as hers and not Molly's.
Nina wants to make sure Drew doesn't screw up the meeting with the congressman. Drew introduces himself but the congressman is not happy with his presence. Drew pushes his agenda and how he's working with Jordan but needs funding. He asks for the congressman's support, but he tells Drew he has stage 4 lung cancer.
The congressman says he'll be stepping down at the end of his term. Drew pushes, saying this project could be his legacy. The congressman asks Nina's opinion on whether Drew can be trusted. She says Drew is known for his philanthropy and leadership. The congressman agrees to look at a proposal from Drew.
Josslyn tells Trina she's rethinking becoming a doctor. She doesn't think it's her passion and needs to figure out a new major. Josslyn says she needs to decide what she really wants to do with her life. Trina promises to be there for her but still thinks she’s in love with Dex.
Sonny has a gift for Dante since he's the only family member he can trust. Sonny complains Nina signed the divorce papers and thinks he can't trust her for a slew of reasons. Sonny complains about Carly taking the hotel from Jason and how she's trying to cut him out of his kids' lives. He's happy Dante has his back, but Dante wonders what's really going on. Sonny says he's concerned Dex joined the PCPD and tells Dante to watch his back. Sonny says Dex can't be trusted or counted on.

Sam gets home and talks to Dante about his visit with Sonny. Dante mentions how Sonny told him not to act on anything Dex tells them. Sam agrees fellow cops will be suspicious of Dex and Dante says he has wondered how Sonny will be impacted.
Dante worries he'll put protecting Sonny over his badge, but Sam says he's never compromised himself for Sonny.Dante says everyone knows Sonny runs a criminal enterprise and wonders why he hasn't stopped him. Sam says he's a good cop and does a great job walking that line. Dante says he loves his father, so he's gone easy on Sonny, which makes it a conflict of interest. Dante thinks he should no longer be a cop.

Carly's looking for Sonny and decides to sit and wait for him. Ava throws her weight around, but Carly says she'll speak to Sonny whenever she needs to. Ava thinks Carly is desperate because she can feel Sonny slipping from her grasp.
Sonny gets home and Carly wants to speak to him alone, away from Ava, who excuses herself. Carly says she's not bringing Donna there anymore. Sonny says he'll take her to court if he has to and she challenges him to do it, believing the court will side with her.
Sonny accuses Carly of getting everyone in his family to turn against him and asks her why. Carly says he's not making any sense and he thinks everyone is out to get him. Carly has a light bulb moment and runs into the bathroom to find his medication.
Carly believes he's off his medication, but Sonny says he wouldn't risk everything by not taking his meds. Carly then suggests they go to his doctor and see if he needs his dosage adjusted but he disagrees. Sonny kicks Carly out and tells Ava there is nothing wrong with him. Ava says Carly is being unreasonable and Sonny says Carly can go to hell.
