Slain General Hospital Star Johnny Wactor's Family Speaks Out

The family of former General Hospital star Johnny Wactor (ex-Brando) is giving more details on the late actor's murder. Wactor was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles in the early hours of the morning over the weekend, TMZ reported.
His mother, Scarlett, gave NBC News details on her son's final moments on earth. According to Scarlett, Wactor was leaving a downtown bar (where he worked a second job) with a co-worker when he spotted a man near his car.

LAPD stated Wactor interrupted three men who were trying to steal a catalytic converter from his Toyota Prius. He was shot and the three men fled the scene; soon afterwards, police and emergency medical services transported Wactor to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The suspects are still at large.
Wactor's mother called the person who killed her son "evil" and stated Wactor was a "hero" for saving the life of his co-worker. Scarlett said:
