Perkie’s Observations: Sam Convinces Spinelli to Investigate Jason on General Hospital

On today’s General Hospital recap:
Carly pays Brennan a visit at the hospital to ask what really happened. She doesn't believe Jack's claims that someone tried to attack him. Jack says he hasn't been tried for his crimes because 'they' are afraid of what will come out in a courtroom. Carly says he's not innocent, but Jack says neither is Anna.
Jack says he's a spy and thanks her for the intel she inadvertently gave him when she saw him in prison. She says she doesn't care about anything other than Jason's safety. Carly says whatever is going on they need to keep Jason out of it. Jack tells her not to worry since he'll likely be heading back to prison. He warns Carly to stay away from him, since people believe he's a bad man.
Spinelli's concerned about going behind Jason's back to find out why he's working with the FBI. Sam is certain they have something on Jason and is desperate for Spinelli's help to hack into the FBI system. Sam asks Spinelli to do it for Danny. Maxie arrives as Sam leaves and wants to know what they discussed.
Spinelli explains it all to Maxie and says he's deciding whether to help Sam. Maxie says she understands Sam's motives but thinks Spinelli's putting himself at risk if he gets caught. Spinelli admits he would help if it weren't for Maxie, so she tells him to do it but begs him not to get caught.

Anna tells Jason what Dex told her about the fight with Sonny. She says he's not pressing charges for Kristina's sake, but Anna wants Jason's version of events.

Jason tells her what happened and thinks Sonny has lost it. Anna doesn't understand why Sonny would do something like this in public. She asks if Jason thinks Sonny would try and have him and Dex killed. Jason says there are lines Sonny wouldn’t cross but doesn't know if that's the case anymore.
Jason mentions how Carly was able to talk Sonny down. Anna tells him about Carly's visit to Brennan at Pentonville. She says Brennan claimed to stab himself in order to see Carly again but she's worried Jack is using her as a cover.
Fergus interrupts Alexis' solitary lunch to ask why she wants to return to the law. She wants to know the real reason he's working so hard against her. Alexis asks why he didn't look into Ava's past before taking her on as his witness.
Alexis wonders why Neil never told her about his brothers and Fergus admits they had a falling out and he didn't speak to them for years. He says he'll never get those years back and is determined to make sure she doesn't get her license back.
Tracy stops by to offer her condolences to Chase and Brook Lynn. She admits she doesn't like most people, but Gregory was different. Chase blames himself for Gregory's passing because he asked him to officiate the wedding.
Tracy disagrees, saying Gregory was thrilled to be involved with the wedding. She says officiating was what kept Gregory alive and tells Chase not to punish himself.
Chase talks to Brook Lynn about Finn's situation, and his drinking. Chase says he wasn't prepared despite Gregory's illness. Alexis calls Gregory's phone, which Chase has, and he tells her about his father's passing.
