The Young and the Restless Recap: Summer Tries to Keep Her Mother From Being Messy

On today’s The Young and the Restless recap:
Phyllis is on the phone with Lucy and says she loves her and is sure Summer sends her love (was that a wee shady?) before hanging up. Just then, Summer approaches and asks about Lucy. Phyllis says she’s grieving her mother and trying to deal with her father’s arrest. Summer wishes they could help support her. Phyllis indicates there’s something they can do as she says Lucy wants to find her mother’s favorite flower. Summer knows someone who can help and Phyllis says they can get it made into a boutonniere for Daniel. Summer reminds her mother today is about Daniel and Lucy so whatever plan she has for Sharon can wait until the next day or maybe never. Phyllis ignores her daughter and says she should get to the florist. With that, Summer exits.
