Mark your calendars for the Beyond The Gates premiere. CBS announced on Tuesday that the highly-anticipated new sudser in partnership with the Tiffany network and NAACP will debut Monday, Feb. 24, 2025 weekdays at 2 PM EST/1PM PT! Set in an affluent Maryland suburb, the Michele Val Jean-created soap centers around the Duprees, an uber powerful and distinguished multi-generational family that is the definition of Black royalty, residing in one of the elite African American counties in the U.S. According to the description of the show,
The hour-long drama is produced by the CBS Studios/NAACP Venture, led by Sheila Ducksworth, in partnership with P&G Studios, a division of Procter & Gamble. This marks the first-ever one-hour Black daytime soap and the first daytime drama to premiere since Passions in 1999. Along with being the creator, Val Jean is also executive producer and showrunner alongside executive producers Ducksworth, Robert Guza Jr., Julie Carruthers, Leon W. Russell, Derrick Johnson, Kimberly Doebereiner and Anna Saalfeld.
