Jonathan Jackson recently took home his sixth Daytime Emmy for his work as Lucky Spencer on ABC’s General Hospital. We caught up with the star on the red carpet at the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmys following his win in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Daytime Drama Series category.

The actor first appeared on GH in 1993, playing the son of legendary supercouple Luke and Laura Spencer (Tony Geary and Genie Francis). Jackson was still a kid when he took home Emmy gold for the first time, which he said makes this win a bit different. Said Jackson:
Jackson revealed he submitted scenes that comprised key moments from his recent return to Port Charles for his Daytime Emmy reel, including Lucky seeing an apparition of Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) in his jail cell and the popular character’s poignant reunions with Laura and his son Aidan (Colin Cassidy).
In real-life, Jackson and wife Lisa Vultaggio (ex-Hannah, GH) have made a home for themselves and their three kids away from Hollywood, which he explained is why his time on the show was so brief. Would he ever return?
