"Give Daytime TV a Chance?" Well, Yoko Ono and John Lennon certainly did, and fans are going to get the opportunity to learn all about it. Per Deadline, the new documentary Daytime Revolution highlights the one week in February 1972. During that time, the Beatles rocker and his artist wife produced and co-hosted afternoon chatfest The Mike Douglas Show.
The Erik Nelson-directed film will be released by Kino Lorber on Oct. 9, which would've been Lennon's 84th birthday. According to a press release:

In 1972, there was a major Presidential election, and it is no coincidence that 2024 will be the same. Nelson said:
The flick will premiere at the Hamptons International Film Festival, not long before it debuts in 50 theaters. Ono and Sean Lennon were creative consultants; Amy Briamonte was a producer. EPs include Jeffrey Peisch, Bob Emmer, W. Clark Bunting, E.V. Di Massa, Jr., Lynn Fero, Adam Licker, and Dave Harding. Original music comes from Mark Leggett, while Paul Marengo and Daniel Mooney edited Daytime Revolution.
