'Meredith' Premiere Improved on Shows it Replaced by 41 Percent
The Sept. 8 premiere of The Meredith Vieira Show performed well. It debuted with 1.7 rating/5 share. This was up 41 percent over the shows the freshman talk show replaced. Among the women 25-54 demographic, Meredith earned a 0.6/4 average.
Meredith Vieira's new chat show also won its time slot in five of the top 20 markets. They included: Detroit, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Miami, and Sacramento.
